Women of Virtue

Dana M.

Woman of Virtue,

I need you to hear this, not just with your ears, but with your heart. You are not just getting through the days, not just holding everything together for everyone else. You are more than the quiet sacrifices, more than the love you give without expecting anything in return. You are seen. You are cherished. Even when no one speaks it, even when you feel overlooked, YHWH has His eyes on you. He has placed within you a strength that doesn’t shout for attention but holds steady, a grace that lifts others even when you feel like you’re running on empty.

A wife of understanding is more than just a companion, you are a place of comfort, a source of peace when the world feels chaotic. The love you give, the prayers you whisper, the way you stand in the gap for your family, it matters. Every act of kindness, every moment of patience, every burden you carry in silence is seen by YHWH. None of it is wasted. Even when it feels like no one notices, YHWH does.

Houses and riches are the inheritance of fathers: but an understanding wife is from YHWH.— Proverbs 19:14

And as a mother, whether to children you’ve carried in your womb or those you’ve carried in your heart, you are shaping generations. Your words plant seeds that will grow long after you’re gone. Your patience teaches endurance, your love teaches security, your faith teaches hope. Even on the days you feel like you’re failing, your presence alone is an answered prayer to those who need you.

She shall open her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the Torah of loving-commitment.— Proverbs 31:26

I know this world tells you that you must be more, more beautiful, more successful, more accomplished, more everything. But let me tell you the truth: your worth is not in what fades. It’s not in perfection or applause. Your beauty is in your spirit, in the way you love, in the way you fear YHWH, in the light that shines even when you feel unseen.

Loveliness is deceptive and prettiness is vain, A woman who fears YHWH is to be praised. — Proverbs 31:30

My sister, you are not forgotten. You are not insignificant. You are a life-bringer, a nurturer, a light in the darkness. And even when you feel weary, even when you question if what you do matters YHWH says it does. You are enough. You are chosen. You are a woman of virtue. Walk in that truth.
