Lilies of the Field: (Faith, Mustard Seed).

Updated: 11 minutes ago

Life can feel overwhelming at times, can’t it? The world constantly demands more from us; more time, more energy, more attention, and before we know it, we’re running on empty. We worry about tomorrow: what we’ll eat, what we’ll wear, how we’ll make ends meet, and those worries steal our peace, making it hard to breathe, rest, or just *be*.

But Yahusha offers a powerful truth that can set us free if we listen:

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Matthew 6:34

How often do we waste our time and energy worrying about things that haven’t even happened yet? We forget that we are already held by the One who holds it all. Yet, the lilies of the field simply *exist*, and YHWH clothes them in beauty beyond even Solomon’s riches. How much more will He care for you?

"And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if YHWH so clothes the grass of the field, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" Matthew 6:28-30

If YHWH provides for the birds who neither plant nor reap, how much more will He provide for you?

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31

Even if your faith feels small, remember that Yahusha tells us faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.

"If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

I understand how quickly life can change, how what once felt certain can become uncertain in an instant. I’ve been there. But even in those moments, I’ve learned to embrace the blessings of each day, no matter how small they seem. I’ve seen YHWH provide, sustain, and show up in ways I never expected.

Too often, we get caught up in the busyness of life, focusing on things that don’t really matter. But how much richer would our lives be if we focused on what truly matters, spending time with those we love, appreciating the moments we have, and giving our attention to what brings joy, peace, and purpose?

Do you realize how much you are worth to Him? Every sparrow is seen, every flower is tended to, but you, you are of far greater worth. He sees your struggles, your silent prayers, and your troubled heart. He knows your needs before you even speak them.

"Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him." Matthew 6:8

So why do we let this world convince us to carry burdens we were never meant to bear? What if, instead of holding on to the fear of what’s to come, we surrendered our worries and simply trusted Him with today?

Know that YHWH is always with you, guiding your path and meeting your every need. In times of uncertainty, His hands are steady, holding you through it all.

"He’s already in tomorrow. And He’s holding you through today".

The inspiration behind our Lilies of the Field Collection is rooted in this truth.
